  6.     to compile wu-ftpd-2.4-fixed under linux. It also fixes it so it
  7.     works with shadowed passwords. (infact the patch "fixes" the
  8.     makefiles so that shadow password is assumed, edit 
  9.     src/makefiles/Makefile.lnx and src/config/config.lnx and
  10.     undefine SHADOW_PASSWORD, and copy ftpd.c.orig to ftpd.c to change 
  11.     this, i havent tested this, so it may not work)
